HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY CONTEMPT CASE No.230 of 2018 O R D E R :

This contempt case is filed alleging violation of order, dated 01-11-2017 in WP.No.36384 of 2017, wherein and whereby this Court directed the both parties to maintain statusquo obtaining as on that day. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that inspite of status-quo order, the respondent-officials visited and pasted the proceedings in the Mosque and also threatened to evict the petitioner, if rents are not paid.

Learned Standing Counsel for A.P.State Wakf Board basing on the counter affidavit submits that the possession of the subject institution was taken on 24-04-2017 much before passing of interim orders by conducting panchanamam, as such the petitioner cannot say that the respondent has violated the orders of this Court. Since the respondent is in possession of the subject institution, his officials placed the proceedings dated 20-03-2017 issued by him on the notice board. No reply affidavit is filed disputing the same. In view of the same, I do not see any violation of orders passed by this Court.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is dismissed. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any, pending in this case, shall stand closed.
