This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.2 in not updating the revenue records with regard to land in Sy.No.67/19/A, Khata No.295, admeasuring Ac.1.20 guntas of Khanapur Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Rangareddy District, for issuing E-pass book as per the Government Policy. It is the case of the petitioner that he is the pattadar, title holder and possessor of the agricultural land bearing Sy.No.67/19/A, admeasuring Ac.1.20 guntas, situated at Khanapur Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal, Rangareddy District; that for the last several years his name is also reflecting in revenue records; and that the revenue authorities also issued pattadar pass books and title deeds in favour of petitioner.
While so, recently the Government has taken a policy decision for issuance of E-pass books by making necessary entries in revenue records after conducting the panchanama, etc.; that accordingly, petitioner approached the respondent authorities several times for updating the revenue records and for issuance of E-Pattadar Pass Book and computerized 1-B pahani; that petitioner also made representation to the 3rd respondent on 19.09.2019 with a request to update the revenue records and also for issuance of E-Pass book with regard to the subject land, for getting the Government subsidies i.e. Fertilizers, Rythu Bandu scheme etc.
petitioner approached 2nd respondent and made representation dated 14.10.2019 and requested to direct the concerned Tahasildar for issuance of E-Pass book to him; that in response to the said representation, the 2nd respondent forwarded letter dated 14.11.2019 to the 3rd respondent with a request to enquire and take necessary steps for issuance of pattadar pass book to the petitioner. But, till date no action has been taken by the respondent authorities for updation of revenue records and also for issuance E-pass books. Aggrieved by the same, present writ petition is filed.
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue.
In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.09.2019, in accordance with law and take action within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
