Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the record.

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., is filed by the petitioners/ respondents 2, 4 and 5, seeking to quash the proceedings in D.V.C.No.92 of 2018 on the file of X Additional Metropolitan Magistrate, Kukatpally, Ranga Reddy District, contending that on omnibus allegations, the respondent invoked the provisions of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, against the petitioners by filing false and fabricated medical record. 3 .

The Court below took cognizance and is proceeding with the subject Domestic Violence Case, pursuant to the allegations and the material produced before it. There is nothing wrong on the part of the Court below in doing so. If the petitioners are aggrieved with regard to taking cognizance and proceeding with the subject Domestic Violence Case by the Court below, they are at liberty to invoke the remedies available to them before the appropriate Court under the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005. 4 .
