Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents.

This writ petition is filed alleging that inspite of reporting cognizable offence by the petitioner on 14.12.2018, crime is not registered.

When the matter is taken up, learned Government Pleader informs the Court that based on the complaint filed by petitioner, Crime No.25 of 2019 is registered on 21.02.2019 for the offences punishable under Sections 447, 427 and 379 of Indian Penal Code and investigation is taken up. It is further stated in the written instructions furnished by Sub-Inspector of Police, Vemsuru Police Station, Khammam Commissionerate, dated 25.02.2019 that on 22.02.2019 the Tahsildar, Vemsuru was requested to furnish ownership particulars of the land in dispute for the purpose of investigation. With reference to allegation that 4th & 5th respondents refused to receive the petitioner's complaint, it is stated that 5th respondent i.e., SubInspector of Police, was on casual leave from 14.12.2018 to 17.12.2018 and that the respondents did not refuse to receive the complaint.

Since crime is already registered, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.
