HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R. KANTHA RAO Writ Petition No.16177 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and the learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

2. The petitioner was appointed in the year 2005 as Field Assistant in the office of the 3rd respondent. On certain allegations against the petitioner, the 3rd respondent by order dated 02.08.2014, removed the petitioner from service. Against the said removal order, the petitioner preferred an appeal to the 2nd Respondent-District Collector on 15.09.2014, which is pending. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that without following any procedure, the petitioner was removed from service. In any event, since the appeal filed by the petitioner is pending before the District Collector-2nd respondent, I am not inclined to go in to the merits of the case.

3. Consequently, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent-District Collector, to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, in this writ petition, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
