The petitioner questions the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner to the Police Station on the premise of opening Rowdy Sheet. Instructions of the Government Pleader, received from the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam, states that the petitioner has involved in Crime No.133 of 2014 under Section 448, 506 read with 34 IPC and so also petitioner involved in another Crime No.146 of 2014 under Section 447, 324, 506 read with 34 IPC and it appears that is now subject matter of C.C.No.705 of 2015 and that PT warrant is pending against the petitioner. So far as the earlier crime is concerned, it is stated that the same is subject matter of C.C.No.234 of 2014, against which also a PT warrant is pending against the petitioner.
While so, the Assistant Commissioner of Police, East Sub Division, Visakhapatnam City examined the entire matter including the threat to the local people from the petitioner and directed opening of a Rowdy Sheet at the III Town (MVP Zone) Police Station, Visakhapatnam City and accordingly, a Rowdy Sheet No.01 of 2014, dated 31.03.2014 was opened and is continuing. The petitioner, if he is aggrieved by the opening and continuation of the said Rowdy Sheet, he has to avail the appropriate remedy as per law. However, the relief sought for in the present writ petition requiring that the respondents cannot call him to the police station etc. cannot be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions pending in this writ petition, if any, shall stand closed. No costs.
