Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Home for respondents 1 to 3 and Sri P.Nagendra Reddy, learned counsel for respondent No.4. 2.

Petitioner is a senior citizen and her grievance is against her son Karnati Srinivas-4th respondent. Petitioner alleges that on 07.04.2017 her son came to her property and threatened the tenants not to give rent to petitioner or he would vacate the tenants from shops. She further complained that she has grown up Lemon tress in Ac.10-00 of land in Pallepadu village and she gave it on lease. She further alleges that her son threatened the leaseholder and stolen away 5 bags of lemons and threatened the employees to go away from the farm. She therefore, requested the police to take legal action and do justice to her. She seemed to have given further complaints on various dates. Alleging that no action is taken on the said complaints, this writ petition is filed.

Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, states that no such complaints were received by the police and that there is no proof of filing of such complaints placed on record by the petitioner.

Having regard to this, both learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned Government pleader agree that writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to treat the representation

- 3 - dated 08.04.2017 filed as Ex.P.1 as complaint now made and the Station House Officer, Narketpally Police Station, will register the crime and take appropriate further course of action. 5.

Having regard to the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of and the representation of petitioner dated 08.04.2017 be treated as complaint and the Station House Officer, Narketpally Police Station shall register the crime and take appropriate further course of action. It is made clear that there is no expression of opinion on merits and the defences of 4th respondent are preserved and it is open to him to work out his remedies as and when he receives any notice from the police or any further action is taken in accordance with law. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
