THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.31318 of 2015 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities were not registering a case basing on his complaint dated 29.07.2015. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Jawaharnagar Police Station, furnished written instructions dated 30.10.2015 to the Office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that the enquiry into the contents of the petitioner's complaint revealed that it attracted the ingredients of Section 506 I.P.C. which was a noncognizable offence. Accordingly, a requisition was filed before the competent Criminal Court to accord permission to register the First Information Report. After obtaining due permission from the learned XXI Metropolitan Magistrate, Cyberabad at Medchal, Crime No.537 of 2015 was stated to have been registered under Section 506 I.P.C. on the file of Jawaharnagar Police Station on 29.10.2015. Investigation was stated to be on going in the said crime.

In the light of the aforestated developments, the grievance of the petitioner stands settled.

The writ petition is accordingly closed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
