ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief; "to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in orally instructing the petitioners not to attend to the duties as Shift Operators in the respondents organization from 1st April, 2011 without following due process of law, as highly illegal, arbitrary and violative of Art.14 & 16 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to continue the services of the petitioners as Shift Operators in 33/11 KV Charlabutkoor Sub-station, Mukdhumpoor Section, Karimnagar District".

On 27.08.2016, when the matter was called, there was no representation on behalf of petitioners. Therefore, the case was directed to be listed under the caption of dismissal. Today also, there is no representation even though the matter is listed under the caption of dismissal.

Learned Standing Counsel for respondents represents that petitioners are not working with the respondent organization. He would further submit that though stay was granted on 30.03.2011, the same was vacated on 20.07.2011.

Petitioners filed W.P.M.P.No.30455 of 2011 with a prayer to continue them as Shift Operators and the same was dismissed on 27.09.2011. This may be the reason, petitioners are not interested in prosecuting the writ petition.

Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand dismissed.
