Learned counsel for petitioner Sri K.R.Srinivas represents that this writ petition has been filed in the year 2001 seeking the relief for regularization of services of petitioner as Typist as he was discharging the duties attached to the said post since 04.05.1994. The learned counsel further submits that since this writ petition has come up now, the cause may not survive and requested to give liberty to prefer a separate writ petition if any cause is surviving.

Learned counsel for respondents is not present and there is no representation on their behalf.

Considering the representation of the learned counsel for petitioner, since the cause is no longer surviving, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to prefer a fresh writ petition, in case, if any cause is surviving. No order as to costs.

Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
