B. Srinivasa Rao v. The Commissioner

THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI ORDER:

This Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India challenges the Certificate bearing Roc.No.E/5/36056/2008 dated 18.11.2008 issued by the Warangal Municipal Corporation. By virtue of the impugned certificate, the Corporation certified that the 2nd respondent is the assessee of H.No.24-7-270/1.

2. When the matter is taken up, on instructions, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel for Warangal Municipal Corporation that in pursuance of the complaint made by the petitioner, the Town Planning officials made a detailed enquiry and restored the name of Sri B.Srinivasa Rao (petitioner herein) over House bearing No.24-7-270/1 and the name of the petitioner is continued in the assessment records of the Municipal Corporation.

3. In view of the same, nothing survives in the Writ Petition for adjudication of the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is closed. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
