HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 3370 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, the petitioners/A2 to A5 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 9 of 2007 of Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad City, which was registered for the offences under Section 498-A 417, 406, 509 IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 11.6.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Women Police Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad District and submitted that the case was withdrawn and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.9 of 2007 has become infructuous and hence, the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
