The grievance of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent was granted a licence and was allowed to shift the toddy shop within half kilometer from his licensed premises.

In that context, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he had submitted a detailed representations dated 15.05.2015 and 12.08.2015 to the respondent-authorities raising objection with respect to granting licence in favour of the fourth respondent. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would be suffice if a direction be issued to the respondent-authorities to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 15.05.2015 and 12.08.2015. 3.

Learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise submits that the respondent-authorities would consider the said representations in accordance with law.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 15.05.2015 and 12.08.2015 in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed.
