HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE DILIP B. BHOSALE AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE S.V. BHATT PUBLIC INTEREST LITIGATION No. 155 of 2015 PC: (per the Hon'ble the Acting Chief Justice Dilip B. Bhosale) Heard learned counsel for the parties.

The petitioner/forum, by way of Public Interest Litigation, seek direction to the respondents to initiate action to fill up the posts of Vice Chancellors to ten Universities in the State. The State of Telangana has filed counter-affidavit. In paragraph 16 of the counter-affidavit, the respondents have stated that they will complete the procedure for appointment of Vice Chancellors within six months from today. However, learned Additional Advocate General across the Bar, on instructions, submits that the respondents shall endeavour to complete the procedure for appointing Vice Chancellors within 3-4 months from today.

His statement is recorded and accepted. In view thereof, nothing further survives in the PIL. PIL is accordingly disposed of.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, also stand disposed of.
