Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Services for the respondents. 2.
This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in not admitting the petitioner to duties as Home Guard though he was reinstated into duties vide order dated 12.06.2019, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned Government Pleader for Services produced copy of letter written by Superintendent of Police, Vikarabad District, to the Metropolitan Commissioner, HMDA, Hyderabad, dated 22.02.2020, informing the Metropolitan Commissioner about posting of the petitioner under his control and directing the petitioner to report to duty before the Metropolitan Commissioner. 4.
Learned counsel for the petitioner informs the Court that the petitioner has reported to duty.

In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and the same has become infructuous. 6.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedies in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
