ORAL ORDER:

Alleging that petitioner was suspended from duties, appeal was preferred to District Collector on 8.5.2017 praying to restore him as Field Assistant. Alleging inaction on the said appeal, this writ petition is filed. 2.

When the matter is taken up, learned standing counsel produced proceedings of the District Rural Development Officer dated 10.8.2017 terminating the services of the petitioner. 3.

In view thereof, cause in the writ petition no more survives. Accordingly, writ petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the petitioner to work out remedies as available to him under law. No costs.
