The Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/A-1 to A-10 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking to quash the proceedings in Crime No.72 of 2013 on the file of Lakkavaram Police Station, Jangareddigudem Mandal, West Godavari District.

2. Heard and perused the material on record.

3. The petitioners are alleged to have committed the offences punishable under Sections 448, 354, 323 and 506 read with 34 I.P.C., and Section 3(1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

4. This Criminal Petition pertains to the year 2014. Admittedly, there is no stay in favour of the petitioners. If the investigation in this case is not completed by the police concerned, they are directed to complete the same and file final report, if any, without arresting the petitioners.
