Danchanala Ananda Chary v. The State Of Telangana
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON No.3560 OF 2019 O R D E R:
The grievance of the petitioners is that the revenue authorities are not conducting an enquiry on their complaints, dated 06.04.2017 and 17.04.2017. The representation dated 06.04.2017 was made to the Tasildar, Mahabubabad Mandal, complaining of the removal of the name of late Shanmukhachary, the father of petitioner Nos.2 and 3, from the revenue records and entry of the names of late Pammi Krishna Murthy and his children. The later representation dated 17.4.2017 was made on the same lines to the District Collector (Grievance Cell) Mahabubabad.
Neither of the aforestated communications addressed by the petitioners to the revenue authorities can be treated as a duly constituted appeal or revision. In the event the petitioners have any grievance with regard to the entries already made in the revenue records and they seek amendment thereof, they are provided efficacious remedies under the statute. Without taking recourse to such remedies, it is not open to the petitioners to make bald representations to the revenue authorities and thereafter complain of inaction thereon.
The Writ Petition is therefore devoid of merit and is accordingly dismissed. This order shall not preclude the petitioners from taking recourse to the statutory remedies available to them in accordance with the due procedure laid down by law.
Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
