THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION NO.315 OF 2009 ORDER:

The relief sought for in this Writ Petition is to declare the inaction of the official respondents in not disqualifying the fourth respondent for the post of President, FCS, Chandapur Village as per the Societies Act and Rules, as illegal and arbitrary. A consequential direction is sought to the official respondents to disqualify the fourth respondent from the post of President, FCS, Chandapur Village.

It is represented that the term of the office of the fourth respondent has already come to an end. It is evident, therefore, that the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives, and the Writ Petition has become infructuous.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed.
