THE HONB'E SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KONDANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No.3259 OF 2017 ORDER:

The writ petition is filed challenging the letter dated 04.01.2017, issued by the 4th respondent-Assistant Director of Mines & Geology, imposing the penalty together with Seigniarage fee for the material used by the petitioner company in execution of work i.e., laying of road between Kurnool - Kadapa Highway.

It is brought to the notice of this Court that the impugned letter dated 04.01.2017, has been withdrawn vide proceedings dated 18.03.2017, issued by the 4th respondent - Assistant Director of Mines and Geology. In that view of the matter, no useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending.

Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No order as to costs. As a sequel to disposal of the writ petition, WP.M.Ps if any pending shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
