ORDER :

Petitioner filed this writ petition praying to grant the following relief:

"to issue an order or direction more particularly one in the nature of writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not allowing to join as Artisan Grade-IV of the petitioner though his representations forwarded on 03.03.2018 and also 23.06.2019 is illegal, arbitrary, violation Articles 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and the consequently direct the respondents to allow the petitioner to join as Artisan Grade-IV in the respondents Corporation and pass such order or orders as the Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice." 2.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned standing counsel placed before this Court the Memo, dated 25.10.2018, deleting the name of petitioner from the provisional selection list to the post of Artisan. In view thereof, cause in the Writ Petition does not survive. Leaving it open to petitioner to work out his remedy, if so advised, against said Memo, Writ Petition is dismissed.
