THE HON'BLE DR.JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION NO.1076 OF 2018 ORDER:

This petition is filed by the petitioner-A1 under Section 482 Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.505 of 2017 on the file of the VI Addl. Metropolitan Magistrate, Bheemunipatnam, which took cognizance of the case for offences punishable under Sections 498-A IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record.

Having argued for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner-A1 may be permitted to get dispensed with his personal attendance before the trial Court. On filing such an application under Section 317 Cr.P.C, the trial Court may consider the same sympathetically.

With the above observation, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this Criminal Petition shall stand closed.
