THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V. AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.37503 OF 2015 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.
The petitioner complains of the inaction on the part of the Tahsildar, Pittalavanipalem Mandal, Guntur District, the 3rd respondent, in considering her request made in terms of application, dated 08.07.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') for mutation of her name in the revenue records. It is evident from the record that the application under Form VI-A of the Act was made by the petitioner in terms of Rule 18 of the Rules framed under the Act with respect to the land admeasuring Acs.2.20 cents in Survey No.596/1A and 1B of Chandolu Revenue Village, Pittalavanipalem Mandal, Guntur District.
In view of the fact that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
