SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1069 OF 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 to 6, in Crime No.12 of 2018 on the file of the N.G.Padu Police Station, Prakasam District. 2.

The offence alleged is under Section 353 r/w 34 I.P.C. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 4.

A perusal of the report shows that these petitioners obstructed the de facto complainant from discharging his official duties while he was on bandobasth duty, on the eve of Sankranti festival. 5.

Hence, considering the nature of the allegation, this Court opines that this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. 6.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners/A.1 to A.6 can file a petition seeking for regular bail by surrendering themselves before the Court below. The Court below shall dispose of the bail application on merits, if any filed, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to the pressure of other work. 7.

As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand closed.
