THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 2999 of 2018 O R D E R:

The case of the petitioner is that respondent Nos.2 and 3 are laying transmission lines through his land admeasuring Ac.1.12 cents in Survey No.40/3B of Vellalacheruvu Village, Santhamaguluru Mandal, Prakasam District without issuing any notice. He asserts that there are teakwood trees in the said land and if the notice is not issued and assessment is not made, he would be put to irreparable loss and damage. He also asserts that the Works of Licenses Rules, 2006 are not being followed. Learned Standing Counsel for respondent Nos.2 and 3 submits that respondent Nos.2 and 3 would strictly adhere to the above said Rules in its letter and spirit and the petitioner would be put to notice before undertaking any work and he would be paid just compensation as per the assessment of damage. Recording the above said submission, the writ petition is disposed of.
