This writ petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in delaying the granting of permission for the conduct of Mushaira protest against the CAA, NRC and NPR at Quli Qutub Shah Play Ground, on 24.02.2020, in pursuance of the application of the petitioner, dated 01.02.2020, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the respondent authorities have granted permission to conduct the meeting and a copy of the permission has been served on the petitioner, and thus, the cause in the present writ petition does not survive for consideration any more.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is closed. Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand closed. No order as to costs.
