THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR CONTEMPT CASE No.700 of 2018 ORDER:

This contempt case was instituted alleging wilful disobedience to the order dated 21.03.2016 passed by this Court in W.P.No.9170 of 2016. By the said order, the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation was directed to consider the petitioner's representations and take appropriate action in the matter, if warranted, in accordance with law within a time frame. The petitioner's representations were made in the context of the unauthorised constructions made by unofficial respondents 3 to 5 in the said writ petition.

Affidavit dated 05.07.2018 was filed by the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation stating that the construction in question was found to be unauthorised and action was taken in relation thereto. However, the photographs placed before this Court showed that the unauthorised construction was not razed to the ground.

Smt.Pingali Lakshmi, learned counsel for the respondent, sought time to report full compliance. Today, photographs are placed before this Court indicating that the unauthorised construction has been fully demolished.

In that view of the matter, the order passed by this Court has been duly complied with.
