HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.3615 of 2020 ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of the respondents in not considering the request of the petitioner for conversion of the vehicle of the petitioner from Maxi Cab to Omini Bus under Section 47 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, as arbitrary and illegal.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in similar circumstances, this Court disposed of WP.No1528 of 2020 by its order dated 27-01-2020.

Learned Government Pleader for Transport submits that without making necessary application for conversion of the vehicle from Maxi Cab to Omini Bus, the petitioner straight away filed the present writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner will make appropriate application before the competent authority for conversion of the vehicle by paying necessary fee.

In view of the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make appropriate application before the competent authority by paying necessary fee. On such application being received, the competent authority is directed to dispose of the said application within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of such application. No order as to costs. As a sequel,

miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
