Heard counsel for petitioner and Smt A.Deepthi, Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 1 and 2. 2.

Petitioners contends that they gave a representation on 25.01.2018 to the 1st respondent to conduct a trade test and decide their eligibility with regard to certain vacant posts of Junior Plant Assistant for which recruitment notification had been issued in 2011 and contends that the 1st respondent had not taken any action on their representation till date. 3.

Admittedly, since the recruitment in question relates to the year 2011 and according to the Standing counsel, Smt A.Deepthi, the posts advertised at that point of time had already been filled up, no useful purpose would be served by directing the 1st respondent to consider petitioners'

representation.

Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed at the admission stage. No order as to costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending if any shall stand closed.
