HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN AND HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI Writ Petition No.29832 of 2017 Order: (per V.Ramasubramanian, J.) The petitioner came up with the above writ petition challenging the action of the respondents in not allotting a seat in the MBBS courses, under the quota reserved for sports and games in Sri Venkateswara University area.

2. Heard Mr. Kowturu Pavan Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Taddi Nageswara Rao, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent/University.

3. Unfortunately, the petitioner filed the above writ petition only on 01-9-2017. The last date for the admission to MBBS medical courses was over on 31-8-2017. The time extended in respect of Deemed Universities and certain Institutions, did not enure to the benefit of the petitioner. Therefore, the issues raised in the writ petition are only of academic importance today. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs. __________________________ V.RAMASUBRAMANIAN, J.
