This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners/ A1 to A7 under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in P.R.C.No.22 of 2016 on the file of the Additional First Class Judicial Magistrate, Yelamanchili, Visakhapatnam District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 326, 323, 341 r/ w 34 I.P.C. and Section 3(1)(r) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 Amendment Act, 2015 (Act No.1 of 2016) (for short 'the Act'). The de facto complainant and accused, representing through advocates are present and they want to compound the above offences. Having heard the parties, permission is accorded as the parties stated that they amicably settled the matter to purchase peace and permit to compound the above offences. Accordingly, the offences are compounded in terms of their compromise at the instance of the de facto complainant since present with the accused.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to P.R.C.No.22 of 2016 on the file of the Additional First Class Judicial Magistrate, Yelamanchili, Visakhapatnam District, are quashed.
