Petitioners appear to be aggrieved by the mutations relating to their ancestral lands in Survey No.30/1 admeasuring Ac.3-14 cents and Survey No.37/2 admeasuring Ac.2-06 cents in Pamuru Village and Mandal, Prakasam District. Petitioners have made an application before the District Collector on 28.07.2015, which was sent under registered post acknowledgment due. Alleging inaction, the present writ petition is filed.

3. If the petitioners are aggrieved by any mutation and seek to contend that the said mutation is erroneously made, it is for the petitioners to make

appropriate application before the recording authority under the A.P.Record of Rights in Land and Pattadar Passbooks Act, 1971, and the District Collector cannot be expected to take up mutation disputes. Hence, with the liberty to the petitioners to make appropriate application before the third respondent, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel the miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
