HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.23966 of 2005 ORDER :

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents - Corporation submitted that in pursuance of the interim order dated 11.11.2005 passed by this Court, the relief sought by the petitioner for promotion to the post of Depot Manager was considered by the respondents and that the petitioner had retired from service during the pendency of the writ petition. The learned Standing Counsel, therefore, contends that the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication.

In view of the above submission, as the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication, the writ petition is closed. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
