Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Home (A.P.) appearing for the official respondents.

When the matter is taken up, written instructions, dated 06.02.2018, furnished by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Amarapuram Police Station, Anantapur District, are placed on record by the learned Government Pleader for Home. It is stated in the said instructions that basing on the complaint lodged by the petitioner herein on 09.12.2017, police registered Crime No.53 of 2017 against respondent Nos.4 to 17 on the file of Amarapuram Police Station, Anantapur District and investigation has been taken up. It is further stated that during the course of investigation, the investigating officer examined as many as seven witnesses and recorded their detailed statements and notices under Section 41-A Cr.P.C. were served on all the accused. It is further stated that the wound certificate is pending. It is also stated in the said instructions that the investigation is under progress and after receiving the wound certificate and after completion of investigation, an appropriate report will be filed before the concerned Hon'ble Court.

Having regard to the said instructions, and taking into consideration the instructions of the learned Government Pleader for Home, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by placing on record the written instructions, dated 06.02.2018, furnished by the
Sub-Inspector of Police, Amarapuram Police Station, Anantapur District. There shall be no order as to costs. 4.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
