wp_39755_2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief: "It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue an order or orders more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Habeas Corpus direct the respondent No. 2 to 3 herein to produce the detenue Devireddy Vijay, S/o Shankar Reddy, Aged about 30 years, Occ: Convener Telangana Youth Federation, R/o: Muripirala Village, Atmakur Mandal, Nalgonda District, before this Hon'ble Court and to record the statement of the detenue for the appropriate action in the light of the various judgments of the Supreme Court D.K Basu and direct the respondent No. 1 herein to initiate appropriate criminal and civil proceedings against the erring police officials and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case."

At the hearing, Ms. Ayesha Saba, learned counsel, representing Sri V.Raghunath, learned counsel for the petitioner, submitted that after filing of the Writ Petition, the detenu is traced and that, therefore, the petitioner is not interested in pursuing this Writ Petition.
