THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.22259 of 2001 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not sanctioning medical leave and also not regularizing the said period and not granting the periodical increments, as arbitrary and illegal.

2. Heard Sri Ch.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for High Education.

3. It is represented by the counsel for the petitioner that during pendency of the writ petition, the respondents have sanctioned the medical leave and regularized the leave period and also released the annual grade increments to the petitioner.

4. In view of the same, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
