THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.12034 OF 2017 ORDER:

The 1st petitioner retired from service of the respondent - Company. The 2nd petitioner is the son of the 1st petitioner. The grievance of the petitioners is that in the service record of the 1st petitioner, the date of birth of his children were wrongly recorded and on account of wrong entries, grave injustice is caused to the petitioners. Ventilating his grievance, the 1st petitioner submitted representation, dated 28.09.2016, before the Director (PA & W), Singareni Collieries Company Limited, Kothagudem, Khammam District, the 2nd respondent. Alleging inaction on the said representation, this Writ Petition is filed. 2.

Since the petitioners have already ventilated their grievance in their representation, dated 28.09.2016, with regard to wrong entries of date of birth, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to examine the claim of the petitioners for correction of entries of date of birth in the service record of the 1st petitioner and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
