THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.24375 of 2008 ORDER:

This writ petition was filed challenging the demand notices issued for payment of outstanding ground rent dues. This Court while admitting the case on 06.11.2008 recorded that the petitioner already paid the admitted amount of Rs.19,35,729/- and the same was confirmed by respondent No.2 in his letter dated 26.04.2006. This Court also directed the respondents not to take any coercive steps, if the petitioner has paid the said amount.

When this writ petition came up for hearing on 14.11.2013, it was submitted by the learned counsel for petitioner that the petitioner submitted a detailed representation raising all the contentions as to the invalidity of notices and when it was represented that the said representation was not considered, this Court directed the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation and pass appropriate orders thereon within eight weeks and it was also observed that the earlier order dated 06.11.2008 shall continue until further orders. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in view of the said order dated 14.11.2013, no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty to challenge any adverse order, if passed.

In the result, this Writ Petition is closed without deciding the merits of the case, but giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge any adverse order, if passed. No order as to costs. Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
