SMT JUSTICE T.RAJANI CRIMINAL PETITION No.1099 OF 2018 ORDER:
This Criminal Petition is filed seeking for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners, who are accused Nos.1 and 2, in Crime Occurrence Report No.76 of 2016 on the file of the Station House Officer, Prohibition and Excise Station, Kamareddy, Nizamabad District.

The offence alleged is under Section 8(c) R/w.22(a) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, and perused the record. 4.
As per the case of the prosecution, the allegation against these petitioners is that, petitioner No.1 was selling toddy and when the excise officials raided the shop and collected samples, it got revealed that the samples were found to be adulterated with Alprazolamhe, and the petitioner No.2 is said to be the licencee of the shop.

Hence, considering the above, this Court opines that this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. However, the petitioners/accused Nos.1 and 2 are directed to surrender the before the lower Court and obtain regular bail. The lower Court shall dispose of the bail application, if any, on merits, expeditiously, preferably on the same day, subject to pressure of other work.

Accordingly, with the above observation, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
As a sequel, the miscellaneous applications, if any pending, shall stand dismissed.
