This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioners under Section 482 Cr.P.C seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.185 of 2010 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A and 406 I.P.C. and Sections 4 and 6 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. A1, A2, A6, represented by A4 as G.P.A. holder, A5 and the 2nd respondent/de facto complainant are present before the Court and they are identified by their respective counsel. They filed joint compromise memo along with affidavit stating that they amicably settled the matter outside the Court at the intervention of elders. Hence, permission to be accorded to compound the offence. Having regard to the said circumstances, the complainant is permitted to compound the offence with the accused.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is allowed and all the proceedings relating to C.C.No.185 of 2010 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, are quashed.
