THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.38280 of 2016 ORDER :
Petitioner is aggrieved by long pendency of revision filed by him on 04.08.2011 and the recent developments in not granting permits for transportation of building stone and gravel. 2.
Vide proceedings dated 13.12.2010 an amount of Rs.1,40,250/- towards normal seigniorage fee and Rs.14,02,500/- towards ten times penalty was demanded on the allegation of unauthorized quarrying of gravel from the encroachment area. Aggrieved thereby appeal filed by the petitioner was rejected and thereafter petitioner filed revision on 04.08.2011, which is yet to be disposed of by the Government.

Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit so far, petitioner had no grievance. Even though the revision is pending, he was granted permits, but however recently permits are stopped causing lot of hardship and suffering.

Learned Government Pleader does not dispute the fact that till recently permits are granted to the petitioner and that the revision is still pending before the Government. 5.
Having regard to these submissions, the writ petition is disposed of with the following order :
(i) Government is directed to dispose of the Revision filed by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after putting the petitioner on notice and after affording due opportunity of hearing.
(ii) Petitioner shall be issued transit permits as has been issued earlier, till the Revision is disposed of, subject to fulfillment of normal conditions for grant of such permit. There shall be no order as to costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
