HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN WRIT PETITION NO.24525 OF 2006 ORDER:

Both Sri P. Narasimha Rao, Learned Counsel for the petitioner and Sri M. Ravinder, Learned Standing Counsel for APEPDCL, would submit that, in terms of the order passed by this Court in W.P. No.16625 of 2006 and batch dated 04.12.2014, the respondents are required to refer the cases to the Special Court for determination of civil liability.

This Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to refer this case also to the Special Court, for determination of civil liability, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The amounts paid by the petitioners shall abide by the decision of the Special Court.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall also stand closed. No costs.
