When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is noticed that the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation. The petitioner has filed this writ petition challenging the orders passed by the Industrial Tribunal in I.D.No.52 of 2002, dated 24.06.2003, wherein, no relief was granted to him. Before the Industrial Tribunal, the petitioner was challenging the orders of removal and was also seeking reinstatement.

As the petitioner has attained the age of superannuation, the relief sought by him cannot be granted at this point of time. However, this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to pay the service benefits for the service rendered by the petitioner prior to his removal, if not already paid, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 3.
With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
