The present Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the respondents in opening the suspect sheet against the petitioner in the 1st respondent police station and renewing the same without recording any reasons even in spite of acquittal in criminal case and such alleged incident does not attract the ingredients under Police Standing Order No.600 as illegal, arbitrary and violation of Article 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the respondents to close the suspect sheet forthwith pending against him in the 1st respondent police station in the interests of justice.

It is the case of the petitioner that, in spite of criminal case registered against him in Crime No.89/ 2013 for the offence under section 509 IPC on the file of the Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, which ended in acquittal, there is no further case and further, the said case was settled amicably and the same was closed by the Lok Adalat on 06.12.2014 and thereafter there is no case pending against him but still he is put to hardship on the pretext of opening charge sheet which was numbered as C.C.No.444/ 2013. 3.

Today, when the case is called, Mr. Shaik Meera Vali, Assistant Government Pleader, represented that there are no cases against the petitioner expect the case in Crime No.89/ 2013 which ended in acquittal.

In view of the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the petitioner on the pretext of any charge sheet and further liberty is also given to the respondents that in the event of any future crime committed by the petitioner, the respondents may take suitable steps available under the law. 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observation.
