O R D E R:- The main grievance of the writ petitioners is that even though they filed representations / objection applications dated 05.12.2015, 07.12.2015 and 28.12.2015 requesting the official respondents not to disburse compensation to anybody in respect of their scheduled lands without deciding the representations, so far, the respondents have not considered the representations.
The learned Government Pleader for Land Acquisition appearing for the respondents, on written instructions, has submitted that the contents of the representations are same as those mentioned in the objection applications filed by the petitioners and the respondents shall consider and dispose of their representations under Section 15(2) of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013 (Act - XXX) by duly issuing notice to the petitioners within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.
Keeping in view of the averments made in the writ affidavit and the submission of the learned Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of directing the
respondents to consider the representations / objections dated 05.12.2015, 07.12.2015 and 28.12.2015 said to have been made by the petitioners and pass appropriate orders thereon, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any pending, shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
