When the matter came up for hearing, it is represented by learned counsel for petitioner that in pursuance of the interim orders passed by this court on 13.11.2007, one post of Junior Lineman was reserved in the respondents corporation in operation Circle, Mahaboobnagar, and the said post is still lying vacant. Further, at the time of selection, the petitioner could not participate in the pole climbing test as he met with an accident. In that view of the matter, this court is of the considered view that that ends of justice would be met if the respondents are directed to conduct pole climbing test to the petitioner and if he is qualified, the respondents shall consider his candidature for promotion to the post of Junior Lineman in the vacant post, in accordance with the rules in vogue within a period of four (04) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. No costs. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this writ Petition shall stand closed.
