Petitioner claims that he is unfit to perform his duties as he is suffering with various ailments. He, therefore, submitted a representation on 20.12.2016 requesting to refer him to Medical Board for reassessment of his eligibility to do employment and if Medical Board declares him unfit to provide dependant employment. It appears that said representation is not disposed of so far.
When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned counsel for petitioner as well as learned standing counsel represented that writ petition can be disposed of with a direction to consider the representation of the petitioner.
Having regard to this submission, writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on merits, directing the General Manager (Personnel) (3rd respondent) to examine the representation submitted by the petitioner on 20.12.2016 with reference to referring him to Medical Board and the provision of dependent employment and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
