The petitioner in this case was aggrieved by the alleged inaction on the part of the police authorities in investigating Crime No.41 of 2011 on the file of the Women Police Station, Kurnool. The Sub-Inspector of Police, Kurnool Women Police Station, Kurnool District, furnished written instructions dated 11.06.2015 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein it was stated that upon the complaint made by the petitioner against her husband and others, Crime No.41 of 2011 was registered under Section 498-A I.P.C. read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, on the file of the Women Police Station, Kurnool. After due investigation, a charge sheet was laid before the competent criminal court and after a full-dressed trial, the case ended in an acquittal. In the light of the afore-stated developments, the grievance of the petitioner is shown to be without basis.

The writ petition is accordingly dismissed.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed. No order as to costs.
