Chinthala Venkanna v. The State Of Telangana And 2 Others
HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No. 4036 of 2020 ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for the following relief; "to issue appropriate writ or any other order or direction particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the Respondent No.3 in not renewing the permit of the petitioners vehicles inspite of their repeated requests is arbitrary, illegal, unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondent No.3 to renew the permit of the petitioners vehicle at the earliest and to pass such other order or orders appropriate in the case."
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner who submits that the lis in the writ petition is squarely covered by order dated 06.04.2017 passed by this Court in WP.No.9570 of 2017.
The same is not disputed by the learned Government Pleader for Transport.
In view of the same and for the reasons alike in the said order dated 06.04.2017 in WP.No.9570 of 2017, this writ petition is also allowed in terms thereof, directing the respondent authorities to allow the petitioner forthwith to submit his application through online and process the same as expeditiously as possible and complete the testing formalities within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, it is made clear that the respondent authorities may take action against the petitioner for furnishing the alleged fake address and
getting his vehicle registered, in accordance with law. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
