Heard.

These writ petitions are filed to declare the proceedings issued by the 1st respondent vide Memo dated 31.08.2015 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 19(1) (g) of the Constitution of India and contrary to the provisions of Notaries Act and Rules and consequently to set aside the same by directing the respondents to renew the notary licence of the petitioners. 3.

Concerning the same subject matter W.P.No.9655 of 2016 & batch was considered by the Single Judge of this Court and by common order dated 02.12.2016, set aside the memo impugned herein and issued consequential directions.

Following the said decision, these writ petitions are also allowed and respondents are directed to consider the renewal applications submitted by the petitioners, in terms of the orders passed in the above judgment, in accordance with law, without reference to the memo impugned. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in these writ petitions shall stand closed.
